This funding will be allocated on a strictly first come, first served basis. The programme is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to further their career in Health and Social Care. The Higher Apprenticeship Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care is now available partially funded by the Government. The programme consists of:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (England)

The contribution required from the employer or learner is a one off payment of £500. Learners will be required to be working in an appropriate role for at least 30 hours per week in the South East region.

Adult Pathway Summary

There are three pathways available for the Level 5 in Health and Social Care:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (Adults’ Residential Management)

This qualification is best suited to those who are already working in a management role in a care home, nursing home or in a residential care setting for adults; or those who are responsible for planning services, measuring performance and delivering continuous improvement in care services

 

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (Adults’ Management)

This qualification is best suited to those who are already working in a management role in a care home, nursing home or in a day care setting for adults; or those who are responsible for planning services, measuring performance and delivering continuous improvement in care services.

 

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (Adults’ Advanced Practice)

This qualification is best suited to those who are already working in a management role in a care home, nursing home, day care setting or in a residential care setting for adults; or those who are responsible for planning services, measuring performance and delivering continuous improvement in care services.
